How do I book a session/recurring sessions?
- If you are a new client, you can complete our enquiry form to book a session.
- If you have tutored with us before, you can manually book your own lessons the link forwarded to you by your tutor, or ask your tutor to book sessions on your behalf. You will receive a confirmation email with the link to the session. You can manage your booking via this email.
- Please ensure you can access your booking link before the session starts. Email your tutor if you have any issues.
- Also, ensure you have a stable internet connection and a working microphone before your start your session. You can use your camera if you like, but this is not required to participate.
I need to cancel my session
- If you need to cancel a lesson, email your tutor at their name@tutorism.co.uk address. We kindly ask you notify tutors in advance where possible. You will not be expected to make a payment where a lesson has been cancelled 1 hour or earlier before the session start time.
- If you cancel a lesson after the start time, or within 1 hour of the start time, we ask that a cancellation fee of 20% (£5.80) is paid for the tutor’s preparation time. Future bookings may be cancelled if this fee is not paid. We understand sometimes there are emergencies, so it is at the tutor’s discretion to wave the cancellation fee.
My tutor has cancelled my session
- Tutors are expected to keep their calendar schedules up to date, but sometimes a tutor may be unable to attend their session. When this happens, you will be contacted via email of the cancellation and asked to rearrange the session.
- If you have paid for a lesson in advance, you can request a refund directly from the tutor, or the payment can be carried forward towards a future lesson.
